Ham radio operators continually setup operations at historic locations,on anniversary’s of special events
or local venues to showcase the usage, functionality and the importance that Ham Radio plays in the community.
Special Events also help radio operations enhance their radio skills and provide the opportunity to teach new radio operators.
During special events I’ve attended Ham Radio demonstrations provided awareness as to what the hobby has to offer.

2007 Michigan celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Mackinac Bridge.
